Here are some tips on what you can do in your free time!
1. Visit the essentials of the city. On the one hand, Paseo de Gracia is home to Casa Batlló, one of the most powerful architectural structures of the famous Gaudí, and La Pedrera, one of the most emblematic buildings of Barcelona and of Gaudí himself. Apart from these two that are in the center of the city, it is indisputable to visit the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. Now that we are in the middle of summer there is nothing better than combining this endless tourist and historical visits combined with good Catalan cuisine.
2. Taste the delicacies of Mediterranean food. If your group wants to taste one of the star dishes of the country: paella, you must go to the most maritime neighborhood in Barcelona – The Barceloneta. Full of charm and cuisine of all kinds. We highlight the Cruix restaurant, a modern bet and with attractive prices. Other top dishes of Barcelona’s gastronomy are tapas, patatas bravas and vermouths. If you want to try the best “bravas” in the city, head to Senyor Vermut or La Informal bar.
3. Staying on the coast of Barcelona, you can explore the city from the sea.”Las Golondrinas” (The Swallows) is a good option to do small trips. They have different routes, prices, and schedules. In summer they are open from 10 am to 8 pm. But, if you want to make bigger and more classy tour you can choose a bigger catamaran. For more exclusivity, you can contact Catamaran Orsom, a boat with a capacity for 80 people. Perfect for a group outing after an event.
4. If you prefer to stay on the land, you can enjoy the best views and cocktails in some of the best terraces the city. Right next to the most emblematic square of Barcelona, Plaza Cataluña, is the Pulitzer Hotel with its imposing terrace. Only 7 minutes from our office. Another option is to head to the Hotel Barceló Raval to enjoy the 360º views from its panoramic terrace.
